I work as an IT Design Engineer for a large energy company (formerly Internet/Web/Administrator/Developer with a strong background in Unix system administration, programming, enterprise architecture, Internet technologies, TCP/IP networking, routing, directories, and security). I've been learning and programming computers since I was young, was online via 300/1200/2400 baud modems and BBS systems in the early-mid 1980's, on the Internet since the late 1980's, developed client/server TCP/IP and database applications since the early 1990's, developed web applications from 1994 onward, served as a webmaster for a large federal energy company in the southeastern U.S. during much of the latter half of the 1990's, and continue to work there leveraging all of my technical skills and experience. I have a solid background in computer/network security and large-scale environments, and have lately been concentrating on pursuing additional skills in these areas. I am content with my current employment, but I do maintain an up-to-date resume. It is available on request. |
